"As soon as you trust yourself, you will know how to live."
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Self-empowerment means
to gain knowledge and understanding of how you operate
on the inside.
When you understand this,
then you are able to understand
others around you.
No one is born feeling self-empowered.
Confidence is learned.
EVERYONE has fears and insecurities.
And, some create a confident façade.
Be authentic. Be yourself.
All people, even at the top of their game,
have fears and self-loathing.
Nobody feels perfect
but some of us magnify our flaws more than others.
So, believe in yourself,
let go of those fears.
Love yourself and who you are and
how you show up in the world.
You are magnificant!
Self-Empowerment implies belief in the self,
trust in the self
and accepts the responsibilities of self-leadership.
Before you can do any of these,
you first have to find your own power
and be in it!
If you do not find your own power
it is impossible for you to develop further
into your own true Self.
Cherish your solitude.
Take trains by yourself to places you have never been.
Sleep out under the stars.
Learn how to drive a stick shift.
Go so far away that you stop being afraid of not coming back.
Say no when you don’t want to do something.
Say yes if your instincts are strong,
even if everyone around you disagrees.
Decide whether you want to be liked or admired.
Decide if fitting in is more important
than finding out what you’re doing here.
Being self-empowered,
you will KNOW that you have taken an active role in
creating the future of your dreams.
By taking an active role
your life will change for the better.
