The life story that evolved as we moved through life with limitations, fears, challenges, and insecurities sometimes mark our story and limit our power and growth.
There are new possibilities that can open to us. At it's highest, our story exists to teach us, to help us grow, to allow our souls to evolve.
Sometimes we make the mistake to let our story define us and dictate the course of our lives. The stories we choose to tell ourselves about ourselves and our lives dictate who we are and what we are capable of.
So, to reclaim our own courage, we must look closely at the events that are tucked away in our unconscious. We must revisit the past and bring awareness and closure to it so that we can be released from the stranglehold of insecurity, fear, and regret.
Although patterns were created in the past, they do not need to stay here. We create self imposed limitations and without knowing, make decisions that influence the rest of our lives .
Often these choices leave us feeling weak, shameful, and cowardly.
If we have been weak in the past, scared, stuck, then we continue to see ourselves that way. We do not have to remain in the chains of the limitations created by our very own stories. If we believe these limitations are the truth and the only truth about who we are, we remain stuck.
We must let go of our human drama. We must give up the stories that have ruled our lives and let go of the beliefs that have kept us bound to the past, a greater future is awaiting and calling to us.
In order to make the best choices, we must make a fundamental and radical shift. Rather than relating to courage as a resource that we tap into from time to time, we need to allow courage to source our choices and infuse our lives.
The choice is ours to make for ourselves. We no longer stand on the shaky ground of a false self image and a story from the past that requires that struggle.
When we stand in courage, we make powerful choices for ourselves.
